2. Hosting and Technical Access Data

This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany (Webhosting Plus). IONOS processes data as our hosting provider; [confirm that a data processing agreement pursuant to Article 28 GDPR has been concluded]. SSL encrypts data in transit. DomainGuard protects domain administration and does not track visitors. When the website is accessed, technical access data such as the time, requested file, browser information and connection data may be processed to provide the website and ensure its security. Where personal data is processed, this is generally based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (secure and reliable operation). According to IONOS, visitor data is anonymised when collected and stored for eight weeks. [Confirm log retention and settings for the specific contract.] Provider information: IONOS Webhosting and Data Protection (German).

3. IONOS WebAnalytics

IONOS provides WebAnalytics for its web hosting products. According to the provider, analysis takes place without cookies and with anonymised IP addresses. We provisionally assume that WebAnalytics is active. Referrers, page views, browser, operating system, device type, access time and anonymised IP addresses are analysed for audience statistics and technical optimisation. The legal basis for any preceding processing of personal data is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (our interest in a functioning and improved service). This theme does not embed an additional analytics script. Provider information (German). [Update this section after checking the IONOS settings.]

4. Contact by Email

If you contact us by email, we process your message, email address and any other information you provide to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for contractual or booking enquiries and otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. We store the data only for as long as required to handle the enquiry or meet statutory retention obligations. There is no contact form.

5. Newsletter via Mailchimp

The newsletter button links to an external Mailchimp sign-up page (The Rocket Science Group LLC, 405 N Angier Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA; Intuit). Data is transferred to Mailchimp only when you visit that external page. During sign-up, Mailchimp processes the contact details you provide, in particular, to send the newsletter. Registration and delivery are based on your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can unsubscribe using the link in each email. Processing in the USA may take place. Mailchimp cites certification under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework (Article 45 GDPR) and supplementary standard contractual clauses (Article 46 GDPR) as transfer safeguards. Data is processed until you unsubscribe; delivery data is then deleted unless evidence or retention obligations apply. [Add the retention period for evidence of consent and, where applicable, email open/click tracking in Mailchimp; check tracking before sending.] Further information: Intuit Privacy Statement. [Before publication, check double opt-in, the data processing agreement and Mailchimp account settings.]

6. External Links

Our website links to external services, including Instagram, YouTube, SoundCloud, TikTok, Telegram, Bandcamp, Spotify, other music platforms and a link service (tr.ee). Merely displaying an ordinary link does not automatically establish a connection to these providers. You leave our website only when you click a link; the respective provider’s privacy policy then applies.

7. YouTube Video (Two-Click Solution)

The video is initially blocked. A YouTube player is embedded via youtube-nocookie.com only when you explicitly click “Load video”. This may establish a connection to Google/YouTube and transfer personal data, such as your IP address and usage data. Activation is based on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and, where required, Section 25 of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act, TDDDG). The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA (EU–US Data Privacy Framework for certified recipients, otherwise appropriate safeguards under Article 46 GDPR). Your permission is not stored permanently. Clicking “Close video” removes the player and stops further connections through that player; data already transmitted cannot be retrieved. Further retention periods are determined by Google under its privacy information. Further information: Google Privacy Policy.

8. Cookies and Other Technologies

The theme itself does not set its own analytics or advertising cookies. WordPress may use technically necessary cookies when you log in to the administration area. Third-party technologies may be used after the YouTube player is activated. No additional plugins or services are currently installed; this must be checked again before the website goes live.

9. Legal Bases, Retention and Recipients

Depending on the processing involved, Article 6(1)(a), (b), (c) or (f) GDPR applies. Personal data is stored only for as long as necessary for the relevant purposes or statutory obligations. Recipients may include the service providers named above as part of their respective responsibilities. Any transfers to third countries are subject to the applicable data protection requirements.

10. Your Rights

Under the GDPR, you have rights of access (Article 15), rectification (Article 16), erasure (Article 17), restriction of processing (Article 18), data portability (Article 20) and objection (Article 21), subject to the conditions set out in the GDPR. You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.

11. Google Fonts

The existing design loads the Rajdhani font from Google Fonts. Google receives, in particular, your IP address and technical request data. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland; processing in the USA is possible. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (our interest in a consistent presentation); the lawfulness of external embedding must be checked before the website goes live. Further information and retention periods: Google Privacy Policy. [Consider using locally hosted font files for the live website.]

12. Objection, Required Information and Automated Decisions

You may object to processing under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR on grounds relating to your particular situation, and to direct marketing at any time without giving reasons. Contact: the email address above. Providing contact and newsletter data is voluntary; without the necessary information, we cannot reply or send a newsletter. Technical connection data is necessary to access the website. We do not carry out automated decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR.
