A good mix brings together everything that makes a production work: character, clarity and emotion. I give music, film and speech the space they need to make an impact — in stereo and 5.1.

My hybrid setup combines high-quality discrete analogue summing, analogue EQs and compressors with the possibilities of modern digital audio processing. Sonic depth and carefully balanced dynamics meet precise adjustments and creative flexibility.
I work with Pro Tools, Nuendo and Ableton Live. The project determines the tools: sometimes it needs the colour of analogue equipment, sometimes a targeted digital correction — and often a combination of both.
The production remains at the centre of the process. I bring out what makes it distinctive, create space for the important elements and bring individual tracks together into a cohesive whole.

Film & Advertising
Dialogue, music and sound effects should tell a story together. I combine them in a mix that supports the picture — in stereo or with the spatial perspective of 5.1.

Clarity, presence and an enjoyable listening experience come first. I carefully balance voice recordings, music and other sonic elements.
